We would like to like to introduce ourselves. My wife Beverley is an English teacher and I am a civil engineer. For the past 25 years we have worked in the Far East, Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam, the Middle East, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and Europe, Romania and Bulgaria.
We had looked at properties in different regions in France and decided that the Poitou Charente was the area that most appealed to us. We were shown a few properties in the area but we just fell in love with Le Bois de L'Eglise.
We decided it was an ideal place for us to live and develop our ambition of running holiday cottages.
